Nov 8th '07: The verdict is in! To see who has made the competitive team check out the Team Roster page!!
October 14th: Membership Fees: Students pay $60 and non students pay $70. This is MUST be paid by our Nov 7th ice time or you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON EITHER REC OR COMP TEAM. Cheques payable to UNB Ringette Raiders. If you wish to make small deposits until then, by all means. All payments & arrangements can be dealt through Courtney.
Security Deposit: There is a $50 security deposit required for your equipment. This must also be paid by post dated cheque (I believe the date was April 2008) or cash. Once you have paid this you will receive: a game jersey, a practice jersey, a ring and a water bottle. It is your responsibilty to have these for each ice time.
Fundraising: Fundraisers in mind are 50/50 on Bingo nights, possibly coat checks or events and our "Shadow A Bunny" ice time where a UNB Player teams up with a bunny for their practice. the girls and the parents really look forward to it.
Practices: As we are still in search of a coaching staff until then Courtney Griffin is "Team Contact".
Provincial League: The league has our schedule and is set to begin Nov 10th. The Competitive Team will play in the league. More information will be posted as soon as we hear.
Other Miscellaneous: 3 forms were handed out. 1) UNB's Sign your life away waiver form, 2) Player Profile for all new members, this contains a question that never seems to get filled in 100% of the time, your Medicare # and expiry date, please if you need to get that information in do so as soon as possible! 3) Contact form, usually needed for filling out RNB Team Registration forms.
Also if anybody ever needs a drive to a game or a practice just ask, there are players on every side of the city with vehicles, we make every effort to make sure we have all players that make an effort to be there, get there. We do our best.
